Chat

Minecraft includes an in-game chat functionality. To open the chat interface, press the T key on your keyboard. You can close out of the chat window by pressing the ESC key. To send a message in the chat, type your message into the chat box and then press the RETURN key. You can also use commands in the chat to perform various actions in the game.

I wrote some custom code to format the chat, making it easier to follow what's happening. Messages look like the following:

LukeCreative (Creative): This is a message.

In blue is the username of the player who sent a message. The text in parenthesis is the name of the world the user is in, followed by the message itself.
