Chat messages now play a sound, making them easier to notice while you're playing. It's on by default, and you can use the new /settings command to turn them off.

There are two other new commands to try:

• /who shows a player's status, when they joined and were last seen, and how many warps they have. Leave out the username to see your own profile.
• If the game starts acting slow, /lag helps you check whether it's your connection or the server acting up.

The commands page also has a new look that should make it easier to find what you need.

I've added a few ways to find your way around, both in game and on the maps.

• /respawn takes you to your active bed or respawn anchor. You can use it as an extra place to return to while keeping your five homes for more permanent locations.
• /death shows the coordinates and message from your most recent death in your current set of connected worlds. It helps you find your way back, but it does not teleport you there. Deaths in the creative worlds and survival worlds are remembered separately.
• The maps now show your spawn, respawn point, and death location alongside your homes and waypoints. You can toggle those markers and find them near the top of the Locations drawer. Selecting a location centers the map on it.

Commands should also be easier to use. The new /help menu groups commands by feature: click a feature, then a command to see how it works and put it into chat. Commands now suggest useful names and numbers as you type. If you set an occupied home or replace a whole waypoint, the game asks you to confirm first. Links posted in chat are clickable, and /where now gives more detail about a player's location and surroundings.

The shop has been updated with spawn eggs for all passive mobs. They are now available for 128 emeralds each. For the full list, visit the shop page.

The server has updated from Minecraft version 1.21.7 to 26.2. You will need to update your game to join the server. Please refer to the version update guide for instructions on updating your version.

These updates introduce several new features that you can learn more about from the Minecraft blog:

• Mounts of Mayhem drop (1.21.11)
• Tiny Takeover drop (26.1)
• Chaos Cubed drop (26.2)

Please note that some new features will only appear in new areas of the world as you explore.
