Storage added

Published on 6/27/2025

A new storage feature has been added. Using the /storage command, you can now store specific items (particularly earth blocks such as dirt, stone, netherrack, and end stone) in bulk. Storing items server-side will reduce the number of chests needed to contain these items, and they can be retrieved when needed. For more information about the feature and the items that can be stored, please visit the storage page.

Shop added

Published on 6/25/2025

A new shop feature has been added that utilizes emeralds as a form of currency. You can now use the /shop command or see pricing on the shop page.

Currently, there is a limited set of mob eggs. They are intentionally expensive to still encourage you to find and breed the mobs yourself, but this is an alternative to moving mobs or if you really cannot find what you need.

I roughly used the following criteria to exclude mobs for purchase to maintain the challenge of Minecraft:

  • Excluded mobs that are not generally peaceful.
  • Excluded mobs that will follow/teleport with you (Examples: dogs, cats, parrots, etc...)
  • Excluded mobs that you can easily ride and steer (Examples: horses, camels, llamas, etc...)
  • Excluded mobs that you can transport easily in the form of eggs, buckets, or hives (Examples: chickens, turtles, sniffers, fish, axolotls, bees)
  • Excluded mobs that are difficult to remove (Example: allays)
  • Excluded mobs that you can craft (Example: snow golem)
  • Excluded mobs that despawn on their own (Examples: bats, dolphins, squids)

I determined three pricing tiers (1, 2, or 4 stacks of emeralds) would be best based on the following:

  • how much use they are to the player
  • rarity - if they are only found in specific biomes or structures

Homes updates

Published on 6/22/2025

I have updated the homes limit of 3 homes to 5 homes to account for setting homes in the Nether and The End.

I have also added a /homes command to view a list of all of your homes.

Discord added!

Published on 6/21/2025

I have added a Discord server. This integrates with the Minecraft server, allowing you to chat with players in the game and use voice. It also serves as a login for this website, allowing you to manage game-related tasks as well. Currently, it doesn't do much, admittedly, except view your homes and waypoints, but I'm working on adding features.

I created a Discord configuration guide to get started.

Welcome to LukeCreative Minecraft!

Hello world! I'll use this space to share new features and notify you whenever I update the server to a newer Minecraft version or plan downtime.

Minecraft has just updated to 1.21.6, but I'm waiting for some upstream tools to be ready, so we will skip 1.21.5 to 1.21.6 once they are ready.

Stand by for more updates!
